On the last full day, we stayed in. We slept late, went to CityWalk for lunch at Margaritaville, and then went bowling at the hotel. It was a bit over $15 a person, for shoes and an hour and a half of lane time. None of us did particularly well, but we had fun!

The bowling manager came over and talked to us about the trophies. He thought it was super cool!

Holiday 1960: Out on the Town

The night after finishing Universal Studios, we got all dressed up and headed to CityWalk for a fancy Casablance-esque dinner. Before heading out though, we had to stop by the vintage cars and take pictures!

Holiday 1960: Universal Islands of Adventure

On the Wednesday of our trip, we all headed to Islands of Adventure. We were able to go an hour early to Harry Potter world, so we did! I posted about Hogsmeade here. It was too much info to go in this post.

Firstly that day, we had to catch the shuttle to CityWalk. CityWalk reminds me a lot of Branson Landing or the Promenade in Santa Monica. It’s just a lot of shopping in one place.

Holiday 1960: Hogsmeade

The day after Magic Kingdom, all of us went to Universal Islands of Adventure. Staying at Cabana Bay got us entrance to Harry Potter world an hour early, so we were there at 7 am ready for action. We walked as quickly as we could through the park to get there. Hogsmeade is at the very back, so we skipped a lot of the rest of the park at first.

The first thing we saw was the castle peaking out over the trees. It was gorgeous.
