This post does not cover Hogsmeade. See that post here.
On the Wednesday of our trip, we all headed to Islands of Adventure. We were able to go an hour early to Harry Potter world, so we did! I posted about Hogsmeade here. It was too much info to go in this post.
Firstly that day, we had to catch the shuttle to CityWalk. CityWalk reminds me a lot of Branson Landing or the Promenade in Santa Monica. It’s just a lot of shopping in one place.
This is the entrance to Islands of Adventure!
Marvel’s Superhero Island was one of the best. It had some great rides. The Hulk was amazing. We waited about a half hour for that one. We also rode the Storm ride. It was similar to the teacups at Disney. It was rough. We spun the fasted and Margaret ended up hitting her head on the side. It was fun though!
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man was one of my favorite rides. It was another simulation, which I love. We sat in a coaster seat and went though a track. The seats shook and shifted, but the majority of the experience came from the giant screens and moving walls and lights.
I didn’t get any pictures of the other sections. Most of the time, I was sitting waiting for the others because both of the other sections only had water rides and I strongly dislike those. Islands of Adventure definitely had better rides than Magic Kingdom, but overall, Magic Kingdom was prettier. Hogsmeade beat everything though.
