London Study Abroad

In July of 2013, I studied WWII History for a month in London. All of my posts while there are here and all of my planning posts are here, but I’ll highlight some of my favorite things below.

My top favorite things were:

Hillsong Church and HillsongConf

I went to Hillsong Church every Sunday. I was able to hear Brian Houston and Judah Smith. I also went to the night sessions of HillsongConf where I heard Louie Giglio and Brian Houston. I also saw Chris Tomlin. It was amazing.

CrossFit SE11

Visiting CrossFit SE11 was definitely a highlight. The WOD was great, but the memories made after when the tubes partially shut down were greater. After that ordeal, I had my first banoffee pie too. Just an overall fabulous day.

Shows

While in London, I saw five shows. The first show I saw was The Cripple of Inishmaan. After the show, I got to get Daniel Radcliffe’s autograph. AHHMAZING. I also saw Once, Wicked, Once (again) and Dirty Dancing.

Highclere Castle

I went to the castle where Downton Abbey is filmed. Nuff said.

Travel

I was able to spend my weekends in Paris, Hamburg and Luebeck, and Cardiff.
